Neighbours of Kelmscott Manor in a fury




Kelmscott Manor in the Cotswolds, the former home of the Victorian designer William Morris, is a landmark beloved by residents in the tiny neighbouring village.

So when the building’s owners won a £4.3 million lottery grant to save the manor house from ruin, it should have been a source of celebration for the 100 locals in Kelmscott. Instead they are furious.
